My mum found out via Facebook that an old teacher and friend of mine from high school has died, possibly today. He was a great teacher, a great motivator, somebody who inspired hard work. He had a wonderful sense of humour, and he took the time to learn our names, and find out who we were as people beyond the science desks. It is a sad day, sir, and I know I am not alone amongst the students of that school in mourning you. I hope that it was peaceful in the end, and I hope that your wife is comforted by that peace, and by the love you inspired.
